Opening to Grace. Trusting God’s Goodness.

Living Joyfully in the Mess.

nice to meet you

I’m Grace

I’m a Catholic writer and speaker, caregiver, and recovering perfectionist. For most of my life, I thought holiness meant working harder: striving to be good enough, following Jesus perfectly, and proving myself worthy of God’s love by doing all the right things.

But somewhere in the muddle, God broke through, not with thunderbolts, but with a whisper:

“You’re trying too hard. Let Me love you.”

Now I write and speak about healing, prayer, and the ever-surprising gifts of God. Through storytelling, a touch of humor, and spiritual insight, I explore how grace shows up even in life’s messiest moments. I care for my mother and make my home in upstate New York.

At Everything is Grace, I’m learning to let God love me right in the middle (and muddle) of everyday life.

You don’t have to have it all together to meet God here.

A lot of us grew up with faith that felt like a checklist. Do this. Don’t do that. Pray harder. Try again. But somewhere along the way, we start wondering: Is this all there is? I write for the Catholics who love their faith, but feel tired and anxious in living it. For those who are quietly struggling or just longing for more. Here, you’ll find space to breathe again in the Holy Spirit. To remember that God’s goodness comes before you earn it. To discover that maybe… grace has been given all along.

Speaking

kind words
  • Grace is a relatable, moving speaker who breaks open difficult topics with love & humor. Listening to her speak is like hearing the Gospel from a friend who cares about your individual journey with Christ. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

  • Hearing Grace speak both virtually and in person has been such a blessing! She has a talent for relating to her audience on a heart level, encouraging us through personal stories told humbly, pulling in Scripture to remind us who God is and who we are, then connecting all the threads in a way that reassures us that God is present even in the smallest details of our lives, that He knows each of us intimately, and that His plans for us are better than any we could imagine.
    Andrea Serra
  • I look forward to Grace’s writing every time! Her reflections are honest, beautifully written, and so real. Each piece feels like a conversation with a friend – one that challenges you to reflect, ask deeper questions, and simply enjoy life with God.
